Omnis Studio
Omnis Studio is an programming environment capable of rapid development of client-server applications. Omnis includes database connection modules that connect to most popular databases natively and many others via ODBC. Omnis makes a client-side run-time engine for Windows, Macintosh and Linux. Applications are in the form of an Omnis "library" that is distributed to the client computer. Before web applications became more practical to implement, Omnis Studio was the best option for database applications across client platforms, and blew away Visual Basic with regard to ease of development and deployment.
