MySQL
MySQL is the most popular open-source SQL database. MySQL usually runs on Linux servers, and is often accessed by applications created with the PHP web scripting language. MySQL, as it has been developed so far, is good for small projects, but has some issues for mission-critical or high-volume applications. With improvements in new versions of the MySQL database software, however, MySQL may be much safer more larger, more serious applications. |
