ActiveReports
ActiveReports is a common reporting technology alternative to Crystal report developent. While Crystal reports make it easier to develop reports "out of the box", its is difficult or impossible to make Crystal do things that ActiveReports can do. ActiveReports has interfaces that allow programming in Visual Basic to customize nearly every aspect of the report, making unusual reporting tasks possible. ActiveReports also have exporting abilities, as does Crystal, to create reports in any of common file formats, such as PDF, RTF, TIFF, text and HTML. |
